Here's my prediction for Cooper's awakening, I'm 99% sure I'll be correct so feel free to screen cap.

Dougie will end up hospitalized in a coma, whether this happens in a dream or through some event triggered by Hutch and Chantal showing up I don't know, but he'll get sent to the same place we saw Mr. C in this week, except he'll be lead by MIKE. He'll go through the house, and we'll be hit with the realization that it is the Palmer house, the painting will make a return and Laura will make her return. Both of them will then leave and end up at the convenience store, they'll take Richard's car and make haste for Twin Peaks. That will be the penultimate scene of the episode.

The Roadhouse performance will be Eddie Vedder, and it will be playing as Audrey finally makes her way there, lyrics are actually about her state of mind not Coopers.
