Jessica is apparently a little stronger, but her body is weak, and she can easily be manhandled despite her strength.

Iron Fist has martial arts and a glowing hand. Daredevil is a much better fighter than he is, and even when he is using his glow fist the bad guys still pose a problem for him.

Reminder that Iron Fist got btfo by the hand leader in his own series, while Daredevil held his own against that guy AND another hand leader.

The defenders and rest of the marvel netflix series is set after the first avengers movie.
Daredevil starts a few months after the battle of new york, and really by the time the defenders happen, it might only be a year since the battle of new york. I might be wrong on this, but cage only went to prison for a short time.
His show started up after jessica jones , her shit started on DD

The defenders took place over a week or less.

So the accords are no factor, as they dont exist yet, as this is all before the defenders.

Realistically speaking, you could say SHIELD still exists, why they havent got involved in any of this yet, is perhaps because the hand have done such a good job as appearing only as a criminal organisation to those that know any bit about them, as the police in defenders only know them as a possible secret criminal group.

So the punisher series thats coming up, that could take place before or after the defenders, that show might take place over the course of one week or a month, same goes for the next Daredevil, that could take place over a day, a week , a month, a year, who knows.

So they could easily keep producing these shows and not have any issue with the accords for a number of years really.

Remember Guardians of the Galaxy, does not take place around ultron either, its set before that.

But marvel netflix does take place within the universe as the movies, as Justin hammer is mentioned, battle of new York, iron man, hulk, captain america, etc have all been referenced through all 5 separate shows

The way the powers have been showed is horrible.

I can understand having problems with Cage, I mean he is the only one that is indestructible, JJ have super strenght, but she can be hurt by blade or guns. They could easily have reintroduced the special ammo they used in Luke Cage show, the Hand as organizzation shoudl have no problem in getting it, and they could have said something like that the last ammoes of this type that remain ect.

Super strenght has been showed in horrible way, JJ and Luke having difficulty fighting ninja was ok, but I would have liked them fighting dirty/smart, something like I can't hit them with my punch I punch the ground or other things like that.

Danny was the biggest disapointment, I understand that DD was meant to be the "Leader" and strongest Defender, but Danny it's the motherfucking Iron Fist, it's not just a golden punch, he is the champion of the greatest martial arts masters of all times. DD prefers to fight in the shadows when he can. IF doesn't mind fighting in broad daylight
LC works as a sort of backup man. He doesn't like to fight period, but he's basically immune to damage and can wreck shit if you really push him. His personality makes him work best generaly behind the scenes, so sometimes working with either DD or JJ
DD could join IF in any situation owing to his costume that conceals his identity. IF has the necessary resources to protect DD if his identity were to slip, and he has the physical prowess to actually protect him too

In Jessica Jones they explain that blunt force trauma still hurts him like a regular person, it just doesn't penetrate his skin.
So when she shoots him with a shotgun, he keeps his head because the blast force can't break his skin or bones, but it fucked his brain raw.

I'm gonna guess that that is why. The Hand do that Karate Kid II thing where they hit through a target, breaking his momentum and knocking him back, but he's not hurt, just stunned.

Daredevil's body armor protects him some from the impact, and the rest is his martial arts training allowing him to avoid the brunt of a hit without getting hurt.
