Luke cage is practically indestructible, and has super strength.
Jessica jones, has super strength, but struggles to fight regular henchmen, who can easily over power her and take her down. She is a private investigator, so has some detective skills.

Daredevil has super senses, is strong, smart, fast, and a master of multiple fighting styles. He is also a detective.
Iron Fist is ok at martial arts. Like, literally that's it. He gets his ass handed to him by practically everyone, and even using the Iron Fist he gets beat down during the final fight.

So why do we need Jessica Jones and Iron fist?
Daredevil can do everything IF can do (minus the iron fist) and he can also do Jessica Jones detective shit.
Luke Cage can do everything Jessica Jones can do, and he is also indestructible

Jessica Jones would work if they actually showed that she has super strength more often. She pushed a car through a wall, and easily moved a huge dumpster. But the moment she gets in a fight she can barely fight off the attackers.

Luke should be able to tank his enemies, and only maybe get overwhelmed by large groups of them.
The only fights that made sense with him were the Hand leaders, who were using mystical fighting techniques to hit special pressure points to damage him inside rather than outside.

Elektra I give a pass to, because she was brought back as this ultimate weapon. She obviously gained certain abilities due to that.
