Whats the vdub plugin you use? I usually frameserve stuff into vdub, cut it and add the subs an colour correct an all that stuff, then ffmpeg like a boss.

It kinda ensures that if Im webming sommat its probably something worth doing - where as WfR just allows people to churn out dross.

I'm using FFInputDriver, it allows virtualdub to read mp4 (I think matroska too, though I have a specific plugin installed for matroska). It's one of that simple plugins you just copy to the plugins folder.
I'm using the 32x Virtualdub.

I'll read more about this frameserver, it's something new for me.

WfR can be useful I think, but I've never used it. X Media though I use sometimes, in the cases when there are subs in the video file.
