He runs a few paces so the spear throw doesn't look so awkward.

Really there's not much wrong with that sequence. Lots of stuff wrong with the rest of the episode tho.

One of the undead giants throws a pine tree trunk/boulder/ice chunk and damages a dragon wing. Wounded dragon clips close enough to the ground that undead grab on where they can and weigh it down.

Night King stabs it like Skyrim after nearly being scorched.

should have been drogon that died since they've actually bothered to make him a character in the last few episodes, nobody cares about the other two dragons
plus the other two being smaller makes it much more plausible they couldn't defeat the undead drogon as well

they shouldve make the NK lose an arm or something either bitten off or melted off
wouldve shown that hes not some unkillable ultra evil guy
