Nah, I noticed it too. I think it's mostly more since Danny and Luke were paired up by default because >Heroes for Hire, it resulted in Jessica and Matt having more scenes together, so most of their character development in the show was tied into each other.

I feel the Defenders is what really made her basic. Before she was mad cause she was in the dark, which I understand. But literally in both seasons of Daredevil Foggy is the only one whose there to help 100% of the time, has most of the scenes with her, and actually helps her through what she's doing.

Matt is never there.

So instead of making the relationship suffer in the proper way, she takes a ton of shit for him, but then only gets mildly perturbed by the reveal. They wanted to actually show that she doesn't "take shit" from Matt consistently lying to her and being late, but she just came off as retarded. Suddenly she doesn't like the Devil of Hell's Kitchen who had constantly helped everyone in the neighborhood for a few years. She won't even acknowledge his good deeds. Rather than say "hey I get that you gotta do this, but I can't be a part of this" she just says "I don't like this so you can't be a part of this".

The only reason they didn't do the sensible thing, is because Claire said the exact thing in season 1 and they didn't want to reuse that. Which at least made sense why she liked Luke Cage. She wanted a bulletproof man who fights for what he believes in, not a man she's gotta stitch up every night he comes home.

Karen seems to suffer from the writing more than her acting. She seems to look right past basic and good relationships, and right into changing people who have no desire or reason to change except her wants.
