I'm wondering how Moviepass plans to make money.

Are they just going to work out a deal with the theaters that they only pay a fraction of the price? Or are they counting on people buying Moviepasses, forgetting they have it (or not feeling like seeing a movie) and then having that just pay towards people who use it frequently.

I had it in Los Angeles, and it was amazing. I would use it with the AMC membership points and just rank up bank points at reclining seat choose your own seat theaters.

But i canceled the service when i moved to portland because no theaters take it here sadly from what i last looked at. I should see if that has changed because we go to the movies 4 times a month on 5 dollar tuesdays at a theater with reclining chairs here in Portland.
