Basically the original arc was 5 seasons and clearly meant to finish there, Sam & Dean manage to defeat Lucifer

In the season before last, they got into a bunch of shenanigans with God's sister, and Dean totally made out with her

I'm at the end of season 7 and I'm still enjoying the show. It admittedly dropped in quality after 5 but I don't think it deserves the hate it gets for its later seasons.
