Why does the choreography keep getting worse?

The lighting and cinematography are atrocious as well. I only got 3 episodes in and had to turn it off because it was making me nauseous. The unnatural lighting in every scene (and the overuse of strobe lighting) plus the senseless overuse of dutch angles in like every scene was too much to handle.

I don't understand why Marvel/Netflix can't just fucking hire a DP that knows what they are doing - or writers for that matter.

The Daredevil vs Iron Fist fight in episode 6 was pretty good. Sort of wish the Iron Fist put up more of a fight though, Daredevil whooped his skinny ass.

I've only seen webms of these shows, but it's clear they aren't planning shots around the choreography, and instead are just getting tons of coverage to edit later. The fight choreography might be decent but every camera placement works to it's disadvantage where you are seeing 4 feet of room between the actors

In the end, it was a stalemate. He Iron Fisted and blew up the room. But until then, Daredevil was outfighting him so bad that Jessica had to intervene and pull him back.

The Stick is apparently trained in the same martial arts as the Iron Fist. Daredevil, being trained by the Stick, is older and much more experienced.
