Lord of the Rings, Tolkein was great about coming up with naming conventions due to his knowledge of old English that helped to set the mood.
Helped set the precedent that those Ah's and Ou's sounds make it sound like old fantasy names.

Tolkien loved Anglo-Saxon/Early English, Gothic and Finnish. He then made his own language and created a bunch of names that are heavily inspired by these languages and it's why they seem oddly familiar.

Then, when modern fantasy got popular off a lot of the Tolkien blueprints, which is just Germanic and Finnish Myth but retard white people don't know anything about their own shit so no one picked up on it, retards just invented names that sounded kinda similar or in the same vein.

GoT is more obvious because while it's fucking big, it's not a mythology, it's a realm-opera, with lots of socialite-tier drama. This registers different in your brain when the Grand Lord of Val'Derynith is going "I'm gonna fuck that traitor whore in her cunting ass." Makes the whole premise seem silly, and therefore the names silly.
