I don't know if it's supposed to be meta humor but the podcast has become an absolute mess. The lighting looks awful and looks like it was shot in some living room. The mics must be shit too because the voices sound far away and drowned out. The set looks cheaper than ever.

Norm had referenced didactic and sympathy based comedy acts as being somewhat insincere and hack. Tig Notaro took this as a personal attack directed at her specifically and has spoken about the matter on multiple podcasts. No doubt Sarah would be aware of this as would Norm.

In mentioning Dan Harmon and Harris Wittels I got the sense she was re-writting history. In mentioning all the young comics she is a mother too I immediately thought it was creepy and that she is probably using them.

Presenting an innocent face and acting oblivious is pretty much her schtick to get away with her offensive comedy and actions.
