Arnie is a gym teacher who gets a job in a bay area private high school. He has his work cut out for him as he finds out most of the students are sheltered and pretentious kids who have never worked hard a day in their lives. During lunch one day, Arnie meets a wimpy student who idolizes a Australian bodybuilder (in a homage to Zyzz). When the student's hero dies tragically, the student goes into depression. Arnie, in a effort to inspire the child, starts a body building club. Over the course of the season, we see fat kids, nerds and eventually even Chads joining. The season ends with an aesthetics competition between them and a rival school (lead by Stallone).
