Because Oakland was a concentrated black community with a small to midsized population, South Central is closer to the larger city where it is introduced to way more people.

Not OP but the acting is top notch; interesting characters and a fast moving plot. I'm not a poorfag so I'm using FX now, but I'm sure you could potentially find something somewhere if you know how to look for it.
