1) The wights can go pass the wall, no magic is stopping them. The magic keeps the white walkers out and whatever the state Benjen was in because the magic also stops him

2)Presumably if its been thousands of years, the Night King and the Walkers should know that they cannot pass the wall because of the magic. But if they amass a huge army and start marching towards it you have to assume that they have some sort of plan to get passed it

Honestly the show could have done with a few less eunuch cunnilingus scenes and a few more scenes where characters mention how the fuck some of the architecture and culture works. Like Winterfell having special gardens and vents keeping it warm and feeding it during winter.

This whole show is about people fighting against their own destiny and by doing so making it happen, and if they happen to fail lord of light comes to save them with magic because the lord of light is autistic game master who does not want his plan to be ruined.

How does the wall keep the White Walkers from building boats? They have trees. Hell, if they have ice magic can't they just ride south on icebergs? Not even Essos should be save from them. They should be able to reach Bravos in a month from Hardhome.
