Because they didn't get the movie right the first time. But they can't understand Dark phoenix was a fantastic saga because it was spawned along 2-3 years storyline, and they can't fit all of that in a movie, Dark phoenix will end up as convoluted as BvS or as rushed as Civil War, or even worse.
