Yeah the whole season is fucking with travel times. Time skips doesn't work when you have to take into account how long it takes to get from A to B.

Looking it up though carrier birds seem to be able to travel a lot more miles a day than I expected.
There's like 1500 miles between Eastwatch and Dragonstone.
Longest in a day by a racing bird is apparently 751 miles.
So if they're doing 500 miles a day, it'll take three days, and then Dany has to get up there.
That's not counting the time between eastwatch and the frozen lake they're at though.
1-3 weeks I guess they were on that frozen lake.

The ice on those spears is made out of the blood of revived zombies, dragon blood is as dangerous to zombies as dragon glass so when the ice hit the dragon blood it exploded just like when the zombies get hit with dragonglass weapons.

The spear only killed the dragon because it was breathing fire at the time. The fire and ice meeting made a medium explosion which is also why the dragon sprays blood everywhere, a part of his body got literally Blown the fuck apart. Also Drogon wasn't actively shredding through the NKs army at the time. He did try to kill drogon too afterwards afterall. He most likely saw viserion as a greater threat at that time since he most likely doesn't see the humans on drogons back as threats in the slightest.

Fixed. This season has been the worst kind of inconsequential filler. Nothing but a big setup for season 8 with no real plot progression (no, a dragon dying and some irrelevant battles don't count). The only meaningful things in this whole season will be NK crossing the wall (should have happened ages ago) and Littlefinger's death, however its relevancy is now debatable seeing how his character has been effectively chastised for a long time. Every other character, including the all-seeing god Bran, has done nothing all season but fuck around.

Do they honestly believe Cersei will care about the Night King and his oncoming army? There's no way she'll actually help them even with proof of the threat.

Danny and Jon's armies are closer to the wall and they'll be attacked first while Cersei is safe in King's Landing watching her enemies die.

the ice spear might not have caused similar lethal damage to a dragon standing still, but with Viserion flying high speed, the spear and dragon colliding was apparently enough to cause the critical spell cast hit to oneshot the beast
