The best that we can honestly hope for is a visually beautiful narrative mess of a movie with a decent soundtrack, a la Tron Legacy or Prometheus.

Although, these days, that'd still honestly make it a top 5 film for the year.

on one side i am worried it is gonna be a bland sequel that at best does nothing and at worst shits on the original

but on the other side, the crew give me a lot of hopes

Honestly the only thing giving me hope for this movie is the director / cinematographer duo. If they fuck this up it will be far more shocking than if this is successful.
