People take that channel seriously? I'm not a fan but isn't the whole idea just to pick at stuff that doesn't even change the quality of the film? Its a gimmick who takes it seriously?

I agree. I like people like Rob Ager, but internet film criticism on the whole has reinforced some really ugly anti artistic theories of film.

It really is an awful channel. 15-20 minute long video of a guy making jokes about lap dances and a ding sound every 3 seconds, and half assed criticism immediately shielded by "ITS JUST A JOKE BRO".

Why does every critic try to play off every shitty thing they say as a joke? If it's just jokes why do they attempt legitimate criticism between the lap dance jokes? Why not just do lap dance jokes? Is it because lap dance jokes aren't funny? Why have jokes about lap dances if they're not funny? If it's not funny and it's not real criticism why watch it?

Cinema Sins is shit because it stopped being about pointing out little mistakes in movies and started being these 20 minute long videos where he runs out of things to point out, so he starts making shit up and regurgitates dumb jokes
