They both have plot armour as far as D&D are concerned, who wins would have nothing to do with anything you could take from the series so far, Brienne has at least been built up to show how strong and smart she is through a couple of duels but arya is an unknown quantity because of super montage faceless uber training. Arya could have been going easy on Brienne for all we know, this show is just that bad.

The worst crimes here is that Arya shouldn't be able to fight like this anyway. But besides that, the only other sin is trying to use a rapier to cut. It fshould only be used to thrust and maybe deflect at the right angles(Assuming Arya is that skilled with needle..which shouldn't be the case since she's an assassin, not a fencer and even if so, she was practicing with a staff the entire time at bravos, be not needle.

I really hate that entire scene and how she wore this shit eating grin while tapping an armored knight o n the boots with a needle. It sucks because every scene prior with arya and the knights or with hotpie kinda showed her as an emotionally stunted person who only cared for revenge.
