Negro-anon here. As a child, I loved this show (and the Powers of Mathew Star and Buck Rodgers). I didn't understand the significance of the battle flag. My Dad grew up in Jim Crow south GA. He didn't stop me watching the show. When we would visit my Grandpa in south GA I would watch that show...and my Grandpa *loved* it.

I grew up in the north but have many southerners in my family (Although many are dead now). The southerners in my family don't give a goddamn about the confederacy or the confederate battle flag or General Lee.

But my Grandpa loved that show just as much as I did when I was a kid. I haven't seen it decades. I'm curious if it still holds up.
