Not a very big fan of KKBB but I thought this movie had some great visual and situational comedy. Not really heavy on the quips so it requires some attention to be funny. I thought the pacing was good too. Not a perfect film or anything but as good as comedies get these days really.

I remember reading that the producer (or director don't remember) was pissed off at Gosling and Crowe for not doing a good enough job promoting it. If marketing is the reason it failed (and I suspect it is) it's a real damn shame.

it was good, the only thing i didnt really like was the kid's character and how she was able to change Crowe's character after like 4 days. Like why would he really care if she never talked to him again.

It's a comedy not a drama. Characters in comedies are usually good hearted needing the smallest of pushes for becoming all around good guys. In this movie this was even more true given the damn title of the film.
