I still don't understand why her character even existed. Lucy was there to discover Narnia and set the plot in motion, while also being an innocent child that young audiences could relate to. Peter was the obvious hero who had to defeat the evil witch. Edmund was the conflicted character who matured from a little brat who betrayed his family; to a young and respectable man. To this day, he remains as one of the best examples of character development in a children's film/book.
