GotG is cool because nobody is particularly superpowered. They're just space dudes with space guns. It's like Star Wars for the new generation, but somehow much better than Disney's new Star Wars. A good substitute considering how committed Disney is to shitting the bed.

I think I started liking the GotG films even more after watching some behind the scenes stuff, the actors all seem like nice people, really cool and like they're actually enjoying the production and eachothers company.

GotG is a bit different from other movies in the cycle. And it's not just the setting. The characters are more likeable. They're relations are improving but already are like a family. The Avengers aren't a real team. People praise scenes like the party from Avengers 2 because there's nothing else.
