Ant-Man and Spider-Man are there for absolutely no fucking reason, Hawkeye deserves more screen time and should have his own standalone film at this point so I'll give him a pass. And then they're just fucking arrested for the rest of the movie because they're that fucking unnecessary to the overall plot that they can be stuck in jail halfway through and not even be broken out by the end of the film, unless you count Chris Evans showing up out of nowhere and looking at the camera at the end as him breaking them out.
If they needed to have "teams", Caps team should've just been him, Bucky, Falcon, and Sharon Carter, and Stark's "team" should've been Stark. Maybe Rhodey too.

Matter of fact, this movie should've never been "Civil War", but should've set up Avengers: Civil War as the following movie. Cap 3 should've just been about Bucky and had Stark as the antagonist. Marvel's cartoonish world becomes abundantly clear when you ask the simple question "how did they react upon learning that Thor and Odin and other Asgards are real?"

The answer is, they didn't react at all. The world in Marvel isn't reactionary. It just exists whenever the writers feel like they want to push the story forward. It became quite laughable in Civil War how they suddenly started to care about world reception when in previous films, nobody gave a rat's ass about flying aliens destroying New York. They all went by the next day as if it never happened.

Age of Ultron pretty much made no mention of New York attacks and suddenly there is Civil War making it into a huge deal. They wanted to go the BvS route when the previous films established a completely different universe. The universe acts however the writers want it ot act so they can push the story in whatever direction they want to take it. It doesn't feel organic or authentic. It's manufactured.

I just finished Doctor Strange yesterday.

It seemed to have some cool visual effects, but really that's all it had. Otherwise it was pretty much Tony Stark 2.0 learns magic. I did really like the parts when they dump on him for being skeptical of magic. Nonsense. The villain was better in 2, the character development was way better, and it was visually more interesting. Only Knowhere looked half as interesting as the Sovereign megastructure or Ego. They are two very different movies and some people like one more than the other.
