>Veteran director John Frankenheimer once had a one night stand with a woman, who later named him as the father of her baby. Advised by his attorney, Frankenheimer paid the woman $75,000 to keep quiet, and she gave the baby up for adoption. Years later, the boy, who had been adopted by a local family, tracked her down, and learned of his possible relation to Frankenheimer, who agreed to a DNA test that ultimately proved that despite the liason he was not the young man's father. The young man was none other than blockbuster director Michael Bay. Despite Bay's efforts to keep the situation under wraps, Frankenheimer himself related the story to the media just five days before the premiere of Bay's latest movie at the time, PEARL HARBOR (2001).
>Michael Bay is John Frankenheimer's son
>Michael Bay has never made one good film
Well, goes to show you that talent really CAN skip a generation.

"The Rock" and "Armaggedon" are objectively good.

Agreed. And Bay is a much more talented director than given credit for. I'm not being contrarian. His talent lies in the shoot-em-up action genre. Pearl Harbor sucked for a variety of reasons but direction wasn't one of them.

But the story in the OP explicitly states that Michael Bay is not John Frankenheimer's son, you illiterate nigger

He needs to have an actual passion for what he's making which is why P&G and 13 Hours are decent
>>86247408
I actually like "Pearl Harbor", despite the cheesy love triangle that the studio heads forced into the movie to ape "Titanic". The parts Bay actually WANTED to shoot, like the attack itself and the Doolittle Raid, were solid.

>Never made one good film
The Rock
Transformers 2007
Pain and Gain
Bad Boys
13 Hours

Was the jewish family, who adopted bastard Michael Bay, under the impression that he was the offspring of Frankenheimer?
>>86248225
No. They were just nice people.
I don't know, I'm seeing some resemblance there.
Faking a DNA test isn't hard, specially for a guy willing to pay off a prospective baby momma.

WOAH ROASTED HOW CAN I UPVOTE THIS??
Jack Nicholson grew up thinking that his mother was his sister and his grandparents were his parents.

This always makes me sad that Michael Biehn didn't become a bigger deal in Hollywood.
