The character in the book was desribed more like a polynesian Brienne of Tarth, but a bit more curvy. people want to fuck her because shes big/healthy looking. Even Holden. And shes a badass who rips apart a ship in her mech suit to save indian lady.

I'm not sure if its the casting (she actually did a convincing ptsd portrayal), or just the lame scenes she is in, but the character in the show was a big disappointment.

Anyway, I just started reading the 2nd book (skipped the first despite being told not to) and it's okay. Writing and characters seem iffy but I'm sure the plot can keep me going. Really brisk read too.

But where does S2 end? I thought it ended when the 2nd book ends but I'm only 1/4th through the book and Bobbie is already wandering on Earth and shit, which was kind of near the middle/end of S2.
