Jerry has the same problem Skyler had; he is right but he is boring, stupid, and ineffectual. This is especially bad in light of the fact he'll naturally get hate for opposing the protagonist.

Rick is no idol and no one over 18 should think so, but while Jerry isn't exactly hateworthy, he certainly isn't very likable either. Being right isn't everything.
