Hannibal is very different from the first, but I loved it. Red Dragon is pretty bland. Hannibal Rising is pure shit. Manhunter and Hannibal the tv show are worth watching.

The three Hannibal movies with Anthony Hopkins are all great, the prequel is shit. Hannibal is my favourite as it has the best direction and style to it but the masses don't get Ridley unless the studio intervenes to make it pleb-accessible, which they didn't with Hannibal.

Silence of the Lambs is a near perfect movie. Hannibal is ok at best.
