This. Bay is a fantastic action director whose style would fit DC very well. Snyder is actually kind of a stylistic Bay-lite, and Bay himself is more like a less tech-focused, more pyrotechnic version of James Cameron, who is also /ourguy/

Whenever I see someone trashing Transformers or Bay for mindless action I laugh out loud because, it's clearly hypocritical when any capeshit flick that comes out people explode with glee

When I see people shitting all over Transformers then praising MCU as if they're seriously quality films, I can't help but chuckle.

This would mean DC fully embraces the MCU model. Think about it:
1.- Movies that can't win oscars
2.- Comedic relief up the wazoo for the CGI/death by a thousand cuts clusterfuck that is the action scenes
