it's ghoulish, and wrong to recreate a dead person this way for a movie, they've been doing it for years starting with that shit captain tomorrow thing with omar sharif.

Why didn't they just rehire the guy who played him in Revenge of the Sith instead of CGI?
Hell they could have used him more if they just did that.

Honestly, it was clearly in the uncanny valley, but since you saw more of him you got used to it and it seemed less freakish over time. That's one problem with "Leias" appearance, it's too brief to get used to.
