The Doors are shit

The chief problem with the film is that it's basically neutered as fuck.

Oliver Stone is a HUGE fucking fanboy of the Doors and basically went out of his way to present the band and it's story in the most glowing and maudlin manner imaginable.

Rather than do a warts and all bio film, it's a love letter that renders Jim Morrison safe for housewives.
