How does that work when the Sith are still in control of the galaxy and there's only 1 jedi and one potential jedi left? Just because Luke had a school for a few years doesnt mean Anakakin restored anything.

there is no chosen one. george lucas told every one what the point of everything was back when the prequel trilogy movies were new. disney wanted to pretend they took things in a different direction but they just wanted to add in new characters and have more of a sjw vibe bur its the same thing
there is no "chosen one". the skywalkers (originally starkiller in the first draft) every so many generations restore balance to the force. this isnt good guys win by default. even without the rule of 2 (which kinda was needed in the story imo ) they will reduce the side that has more users. anakin did what the prophecy foretold, luke did it too and so did kylo. if luke dies then rey can do it but if kylo dies then fuck face can do it potentially or rey would fight luke
while it seems like its any one since anakin its possible that the skywalker/starkiller 's maybe have done this shit way back like when lightsabers had power packs and cables or pre lightsabers. reducing the other side to be on even ground with your side. its zen
