what went wrong is that mr robot (the dad) went from being ambiguous good/bad into "i am a bad guy"

thats what ruined season 2. i stopped after 3 episodes.

Showrunner was too full of himself going into season two. Not that I didn't enjoy season 2 but it wasn't nearly as good as the first season.

Season 2 shifts darker is because elliots getting deeper into his mind
