>Field of Dreams is the pinnacle. Baseball is just the conduit for the relationship between a father and son. The side plot about Moonlight Graham, Burt Lancaster in his final role, is also kino.
>The Natural is brilliantly shot and directed. Based on the novel but with a different ending. Right behind Field of Dreams as the second best baseball movie
>The Sandlot is kid kino. Again baseball is just the conduit for what it means to be growing up. The kids aren't bad actors.
>The Bad News Bears (1976 not the remake) is more kid kino. Follows a dysfunctional little league team being coached by a drunken curmudgeon. Again the kids aren't bad actors.
>Major League is a light hearted baseball comedy. The only film listed where you need to like baseball though.
>Bull Durham is another baseball comedy but a with a bit more drama and relatable real world events.
>Cobb, starring Tommy Lee Jones, is a great biopic on Ty Cobb. Follows a reporter trying to get to know him as a dying old man. Cobb is a raging mad man.
If you don't like baseball you'll enjoy these films except maybe Major League.

Is that pastime being so fat that you let shitjuice seep into your jogging trousers when you're out shopping at a shitty megamarket?
hunting is a wonderful father and son part of Americana bonding experience.
For Love of the Game was alright. People hated it because Kevin Costner made too many baseball movies or something. The brolationship between Costner and Reilly is where all the magic happens.
