I agree Skylar was the most annoying character ever but as with everything in Breaking Bad, but that personality saved her family in the end so it served a purpose.

I enjoyed Ozark but it was not on the level of breaking bad.

You can get away with that kind of thing to get the show going but to do it multiple times is lazy.
