The lighting was weird, so skin color was not easy to figure out, and they didn't focus long enough on individuals so that you could really inspect their faces. For all you know, they could have been all Norwegian

I have no idea what the fuck people are on about, it's not as elegant as the original film (which honestly doesn't need a sequel cause it has a complete narrative arc) but at the absolute worst it's still an amazing action spectacle like they Just Don't Make Anymore. If capeshit even approached this level of quality I'd be all about it.

I was so fuckin pumped for this movie when it was coming out I remember downloading a 300+ page script claiming to be Matrix 2 and 3 on Kazzaa when I was like 11 and reading it through.

It came out and wasn't the script and I was disappointed. It did share a lot of things in common though so maybe it was an early draft or something.

I still think the movie kinda stinks. I see 2+3 as their own thing.

Animatrix is great though.
