Is "fun" a legitimate film criticism ?
>>
the critic mode is bad and critics are bad

there are only creators. critics are talentless and such have no right to say anything about the work of the gifted.
>>
>>86131642
In criticizing critics you become a critic yourself.

Look at Jason. This is another girl he knows would hate him. He attacks her and calls her ugly, just like an angry little autistic shit with no life.

He's the most pathetic cunt in the world.

it looks like her head was badly photoshopped in
>>
fun isnt a criticism
fun is a positive thing
>>
>>86131586
It's a terrible way to describe a film if they just say it's fun but don't explain why.
>>

No worse then a tour de force.

It's a mere blanket dismissal, the way affirmative light recognizes the darkness (as a lack, a negativity of non-existence) before blasting through it and destroying it.

I am affirming that the talentless are a negative space of nothing waiting to be steamrolled over. We have words for 'nothingness' and negativity but really it's just lack and it's just space I pass over as I'm busy being real and creative.

>the talentless are a negative space of nothing waiting to be steamrolled over
Yes, you are. You contribute nothing to anything. You're simply a parasite clinging on to real people.
I feel sorry for your family having to cope with a giant shit like you.

Only if you can explain why something is or isn't fun.

Stop reeeing Jason.
>>
the talentless (critics) resort to stalking because they are so desperate to feel the glow of anything real and inspired they are willing to degrade themselves just to be in proximity with their better who fucking detests and ignores them.
>>
>>86131993
I can see you are getting very angry and now copying things back like a chimp.

You sad prick.
>>
A person that's seen a lot of films can judge whether an actor is bad at acting, and whether a film is fun or boring, but they can't discern why, their opinions aren't irrelevant, it's just they don't understand film to a high degree.

I don't understand film at all, and for example, I thought Daisy Ridley in Star Wars acted terribly, and did not understand why I came to that conclusion until I saw online that she constantly opened her eyes as wide as possible in almost every scene and had her mouth open almost always. (Her acting is stilted, basically)

You can pick up on bad acting, and fun movies innately, but not actually know in depth why something is bad/good.
>>
Fun is neutral. Troma movies are fun as fuck, but they are awful and you wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Some movies are unintentionally fun because of how bad they are. Fun is also subjective, I had a lot of fun watching Dunkirk but my gf was bored to to tears.

tl;dr just like there are hack artists, there are hack critics. "Fun" in a review is a clear sign of the latter

Scary Movie isn't a timeless classic, but it's a fun movie.

Fun is just a buzzword when you can't actually think of any real reasons as to why something is good, don't use it. Either way, being amused or entertained with something and being immersed are not the same thing.

No, it's yours haha

Fun is a feeling from doing something but not watching.
It might feel fun but it's not real as its deceptive.
So no, fun can't be used towards film or television.

Saying a film is "fun" is basically saying the movie sucks, but you find entertainment value in it. Good things aren't always necessarily fun.
