Because it manages to be an effective satire on everything without being mean spirited. All of the characters are seriously dysfunctional but still highly likable, and rather than portraying this dysfunction as depressing and cynical, it maintains an optimistic outlook on the world, unlike other satirical shows like South Park that suffer from serious irony poisoning. That's why I like it at least
