It's alright. It suffers from Spiderman 3 syndrome. That is, people like to say it's shit because it isn't as good as the previous ones.

Sad. Lucas and Spielberg are buddies and George is good at creating stories.

The Plinkett review said it best, when they were doing Raiders Lucas and Spielberg were still young guys and doing the stuff they always wanted to see in those adventure serials.

Now Spielberg is a grandpa, he's more reserved and less willing to show Nazis faces melting and people getting their hearts ripped out.

Best case scenario is Spielberg took note that Crystal Skull felt castrated and is ready to make 5 a hard PG-13.
