To be perfectly honest, no. Cate is beautiful, but not ethereally so. Her features are just a bit too blunt and rounded to really capture what I always envisioned Tolkien's Elves looking like. Frankly, that holds true for pretty much everyone they cast as Elves, and that includes Bloom.

None of them really convey fragile beauty and grace belying otherworldly power.
