Prometheus: flawed masterpiece
Alien Covenant: schlock with some redeeming qualities

I need to rewatch Prometheus to be sure but Covenant was simply trash aside from Fassbender.

the eviltwin swap plot twist was so obvious it was painful.

also, why did david wait until cryosleep to fuck them over?
he had complete control of the airlocks, he could just led the alien to them.
why help them kill a lifeform he loves and help create?

and why david went "insane" isn't explained very much either.
he was disappointed to see his maker was human and selfish, but does that warrant hatred of the human race and a sadistic pleasure watching them die?
