Who's hyped?
>Written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who also helmed "Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation".
>Tom Cruise, Michelle Monaghan, Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Alec Baldwin and Sean Harris are all coming back from the previous movies, with Henry Cavill, Vanessa Kirby, Angela Basset, Frederick Schmidt and Sian Brooke joining the cast.
>Cavill is playing an IMF agent and is reportedly the main villain; Schmidt is playing the lead henchman; Basset is the new head of the IMF; Kirby is a "femme fatale" and no word on Brooke's role.
>Said to be a darker and more personal movie exploring Ethan Hunt's psyche and the consequences of his past catching up to him.
>Features the most complex stunt Cruise has ever pulled on film, required three months of preparation.

>with Henry Cavill

Stop it Tom you're going to die doing this shit
Mission Impossible films have been top notch.
I'm really looking forward to it.
tom's best stunt was doing the mummy

>Implying that's not what he wants
>>86043412
Rogue Nation was a bit weak but that scene in Tunisia or wherever was great. I hope they do more action like that with the motorcycle chases.
>>86043384
Xenu won't allow it

>>86043603
Nice. MI chase scenes is the shit.

>>86043481
He road a bike in Oblivion and did stunts on it then
>>86041561
>Michelle Monaghan
I assume they're bringing back Ethan's wife so they can kill her
>>86043545
Absolutely, the films never really lose steam, I rewatched all of them a few weeks ago and had a great time.
>>86041561
>new movie literally named MI:6
>not making a crossover with james bond universe
Lost opportunity for making tons of cash.
>>86044051
You're living in the ruins my friend.
>>86041561
>Who's hyped?
Well, after Ghost Protocol I thought the franchise was done for in terms of being an actual M:I movie.
But Rogue Nation was a decent step up from that mediocrity. Still definitely not as good as 1 & 3.
>>86043419
Can't deny. His devotion to that movie was also adorable. Too bad script and editing failed.
>>86043481
He knows how
Source: Lots of movies where he rides bikes and does his own stunts, including the last damn Mission Impossible.
>>86043545
3 is incredibly cheesey, too much for my taste, but still enjoyable.
4 was good, nothing was mind blowing but it was a really well put together movie.
5 was a bit too safe but was still good.
They are pretty good considering modern big budget movies.
>>86041561
In for Rebecca and Henry
Rogue nation has one of the worst villains I've ever seen
/tv/-show fag here.
Rogue Nation is probably the best adaptation of the source material. The very first movie is pretty good too, and the rest are dogshit.
>>86043929
>bringing back
she was in the previous one
I'm excited. It's nice to have movies with fun gadgets and shit. James Bond is so serious and realistic now.
>>86041561
I will be 20 when this comes out
>>86041561
Fucking hell, it's slowly turning into The Expendables.
>>86041561
This has got to be the most forgettable not completely shit series out there.
The last two movies totally and completely bllur together when I try to recall what happend in them. As far as i can recall they were the exact same movie done twice.
>>86046135
MI:III is the best in this forgettable series and ironically the only truly good movie J.J. has made.
>>86041561
>Angela Basset
>Henry Cavill
Haven't seen the others, but I might be interested in this.
>>86041713

>tfw MI3 is genuinely one of my favorite action movies

Love the mustache he'll be sporting.
>>86049876
Him playing the main villain sounds hilarious and I can't help but wonder why the mustache was essential.
>>86050608
It's probably a fake mustache that he rips off in the end and turns out to be a good guy.
Then he rips off his mask and turns out to beClark Kent.
McQuarrie is honestly one of my fav writer-directors.
Way of the Gun is fucking kino.
>>86043777
Ferguson m8
>>86041561
I have a hard time being hyped for this after the Mummy train wreck. I think it's game over for Tom Cruise. he should retire now unless he wants to become like Harrison Ford and Schwarzie, grandpa doing action movies as if they were 30 years old again. Act your age or retire fucking boomers
>>86041561
>BLACKED
I'm so sick of this shit. Every movie needs forced diversity
>>86041561
is tom real life benjamin button? isn't he pushing 60?
