Probably. But with Lynch's meditation-inspired dream-logic fueling these shows, augmented by Frost's in-depth occult studies knowledge, I could imagine them constructing the show to be much more aligned to work on that level than normal.

There is a pretty cool stream somewhere where some occult enthusiast guys go into Frost's occult interests and read the new season in terms of Gnostic ideas. They make a pretty good argument actually, as someone who has spent considerable time studying that myself.
