in the games the empire has ships called interdictors that stop ships from going to hyperspace

Tie fighters are inferior to rebel starfighters, any type really. Ties only win by mass numbers. Regular ties dont have shields and only have blasters, no missiles. In a straight fight, xwings would always win.

Star destroyers vary in size, from 3500-4000 meters to 7000+ meters, depending on the type. They are capable of leveling a planet through bombardment, but clearly the death star is more efficient and doesnt take nearly as much time.
