I was surprised they didn't review Dunkrik too. Like I knew we weren't getting an emoji movie episode after they memed about trasnformers. Compare those reviews with any episode of 2013. They used to give you a good view not only of the movie but also the studio, why the movie was made, the trends in Hollywood, etc. Now they go from one scene to another saying if they liked or not, crack a couple of jokes that lately don't even land (because comedy is fucking hard and they are getting lazy) and they are done for the week.

The only good recent HiB episode was the one about The Mummy. Everything else it's been mediocre at best. I haven't even finished the one about Baby Driver + Capeshit of the month.

Jay really has improved massively and he's had to. From being the straightguy for Mike he's steadily taken on more of the responsibility for analysis and pushing the reviews along due to Mike seeming ever more disinterested/burned out.
