Around 32 seconds in they literally have a struggle with the web. This shows us that Cap and Spidey are at least on the same terms when it comes to strength but not when it comes to ingenuity so that's why he is able to outsmart him and get free from the web. Captain America is a seasoned veteran with tons of fighting experience, it would take it mere seconds to know how strong his opponent was.

I didn't care about that scene in MoS when I first saw it as I don't think it showed civilians dying in falling buildings or Superman having a moment of thought about civilians. Therefore it's implied that there were no civilians. I agree that people here overreacted about that scene. However, in BvS the consequences of that event was brought forward so it's a valid complaint when people say that Superman acted carelessly.

The tone of the airport fight was mostly action-comedy. There was sarcasm and witty remarks between members of opposing teams and some characters specifically mentioned that they were not planning to kill another. Therefore, thinking that they were trying to kill one another as a result of cars falling on IronMan or Spiderman throwing something at Bucky is simply absurd and idiotic. The nonseriousness of the verbal tone of the scene is what's important here. It only turns tragic when Warmachine falls as there's no banter, or silly one-liners. The fact that I'm typing this to illustrate that some people here have no idea as to how to analyze a film/scene on a fundamental level.

However, Baron Zemo does point out the consequences of Avengers' action in AofU, and it does show that Avengers were somewhat careless.

People are overthinking about that scene. It simply shows that he can find other means to get around a situation. The movie was probably lacking big explosions at this point so Snyder had the truck blow up. Thinking about people dying in the building shouldn't even cross one's mind unless it is specifically mentioned or shown in the film. It's a way for the director to tell the audience that we should keep that in mind in addition to other things that are happening.

But that's why people so accustomed with the MCU felt so disturbed by MoS and BvS.

In the MCU movies even when Iron Man kills the fuck out of terrorists there's a witty remark coming from the characteristic RDJ, so the audience doesn't really care. The whole thing is very funny.

But in MoS there's no fun. You see people running scared left and right, you see soldiers dying and everyone feeling depressed, you Zod promising to kill everyone if Superman doesn't kill him, and in the end Superman snap his neck and cry like a little bitch.
Even BvS with constant remarks about the city being deserted you still have Batman smashing a guy's head like potatoes with a flying crate and Superman getting impaled.
So people felt disturbed.

I think that's why people liked WW so much. Even if she's killing German soldiers left and right, the audience ignore that side of the movie because you've Wonder Woman acting clumsy and wide eyed about ice creams and babies.

For example, even if it doesn't make any sense at all, after Ares is defeated everybody drop their weapon and start cheering. This despite the movie going out of its way to make a point about the humans not being really controlled by Ares.
Now, if the movie had ended on a depressing note with the German soldiers still trying to fight and the war still going on a bit after despite everything, and Wonder Woman remarking about how the WW2 still happened, i bet you the critic score and word of mouth would be somewhat different.

This was the scene that convinced me Snyder was way the fuck in over his head. This film would be so much better if not for a few short 10-second sequences, the worst of which is this one. The motherfucker literally deals with the oil tanker in the single most apathetic unheroic way possible. The only thing that would've been worse would've been if he'd grabbed the truck and randomly out of nowhere started using it to swat away innocent civilians before throwing it at then with how own hands and blowing them up. This scene is the epitome of Snyder's autism. And it sucks because the Smallville fight for the most part was so fucking great. It got so many things right. To see that and then end up with this shit right after... It was so fucking disappointing. A lot of people bag on this films core ideas and themes and I think that's bullshit. The only problem that keeps this film from bring truly great is braindead shit that was completely avoidable, and this scene is the worst example of that.
