Lynch is a wonder to watch direct
his movies all have that distinct 'cheap 80s soap opera' quality to them that makes them feel outside of any realistic timeframe, like they're simply foggy dreams
the cheap glamour and overly done fashion of that era only adds to this feeling
the NO HAY BANDA scene in particular is honestly one strongest I've ever seen
