Why doesn't this man get better roles I keep seeing him as a supporting actor or in garbage movies, but he is always pretty good
white cis male
not jewish
also hes mormon
He mostly only plays one character, but he plays it really fucking well. In The Company of Men is a masterpiece.

Eckhart is perfectly average. Look at him. He doesn't look like a villain or a hero. He could have held onto a decent career playing male Co star number 2. The lieutenant who quips with the captain but will help you get evidence out of lockup to solve the case. The neighbor who helps you with your taxes and spouts exposition.

Are Mormons more disliked in Hollywood than elsewhere?
What else was he good in besides TDK and Thank You for Smoking?

If there was an Oscar for best appearance by a mustache in a film, Eckhart would have won.

I like him in Game of Thrones

the core is an underrated masterpiece of pacing
Isn't he in that Shot Caller movie?

Whenever anyone tries to discuss TDK, it always basically comes down to
>muh Ledger
but the simple fact of the matter is that Eckhart stole that film from him and Bale right underneath them. His scenes were absolutely fantastic. The final set piece in the warehouse, he absolutely shone.
He needs to play Dennis Wilson in Tarantino's Manson flick.

The Core is basically a B-movie plot with an A-movie budget and I love it
