I just watched Jump the Shark, after having watched The Lone Gunmen.
It's a shame that they were killed off, but I think the episode doesn't deserve the bad reputation. Being more familiar with the characters (especially Yves, Jimmy and Morris) really made the episode enjoyable. Their series ended on a cliffhanger, so I thought it was great seeing where all the characters were at a year later, and how the event had affected them.

Is that you, Immigrant? Stop behaving like a fanboy. Were-Monster was good, but it was by far the worst Darin Morgan episode. The humor was forced and kind of stiff compared to his earlier stuff, and that sort of story had no business being in the first series of a revived show. They should have waited until the tail-end of the second, like in the original series, and instead should have focused on setting the show up again during the first.

Best eps were Founder's Mutation, Were-Monster, and Home Again. The latter would have been better without the random Scully's Mom stuff Carter shoehorned in, but it was my personal favorite of the season.

She was completely shoved into the show without any sort of proper set up, and we're supposed to like her right away, and that psychic bullshit was absolutely cringe worthy. Doggett was cool because he was introduced as unlikeable, since they knew most people would be against a Mulder replacement, and we slowly warmed up on him along with Scully.
Reyes was just forced down our throats and the romance only made things worse.
Again, nothing against the actress who I guess did whatever she could. It's just a shitty character that seems to be taken from fan fiction.

His mom (my sister) hates that he likes to do shit with me so she might take the chance to stop him from watching X-Files with me all together. Those episodes weren't very good, but I don't think they were any worse than the regular myth arc episode after the Syndicate was gone.
