Ponyo? Why?
Also Babadook? Come on man, that wasnt even the best indie horror film of that year.

id say im fairly middle ground
>no capeshit
>foreign films
>I can sit through black and white movies
>>85855104
nice. Love Django. Step Brothers wasn't the best fit for me but i can see the appreciation for it
>>85855150
It's just, like, pure joy the movie. It's the most sensory pleasing experience i've ever had and i wasn't even high.
I wish i had better taste in horror lololol
>A Knight's Tale
>The Fifth Element
>The Princess Bride
>Master and Commander
>Before Sunset

Just had to pick one. I watched RotJ most as a kid.
>Jabba's palace is a very distinct location in Star Wars, the appeal of the cantina scene but more of it
>I prefer Luke v Vader to ESB fight
>I really loved the "escape" part of the sarlacc as a kid, so I still do
>I don't prescribe badassery to Boba Fett
>The "escape" part of the Death Star always reminded me of the PC game descent, or vice versa
>The sound design on Endor made me feel like I was on a different planet
>Ewoks are a cute metaphor
>>85855344
I could see that, good defense of Ponyo.
But seriously man, step up that horror game. Watch (if you haven't) The Shinning, Blue Velvet, It Follows and The Witch. I dunno if any of those will be a new favorite or whatnot but I feel you could use a course in the fabric of horror and those four stitch it real well.

Nice
>The Babadook

Not so nice but each to their own I guess. They weren't bad by any means but I struggle to see how you could have them in your top ten.

bruh
seen all of those
The VVitch is top 20, The shins is overrated in terms of scope and acting and It Follows, while it does have a place in my heart, really kinda goes out the window in terms of creativity with audience immersion. but thats just me.
>>85855829
>The shinning
I hope that was intentional.
You forgot the Changeling, it's the definitive haunted house movie.
